Practical Concealed Carry

* BEFORE TAKING ADVANCE FIREARM CLASSES, YOU HAVE TO TAKE OR ALREADY HAVE, CCDW CONCEAL CARRY PERMIT, OR BASIC PISTOL OR NRA PERSONAL PROTECTION IN THE HOME CERTIFICATION.
Practical Concealed Carry
Carrying a firearm is a tremendous responsibility.You owe it to yourself and your community to be proficient both in marksmanship techniques and the physical ability to draw, present and pull the trigger properly. In this course you will learn concealed carry drawing and shooting techniques. You'll learn several methods of carry, along with live fire drills, pocket holsters and pocket guns, fanny packs, and more. You will also learn dry fire practice drills that Chris is always talking about in class.
Advance Pistol 1
This Course is the first in a five step class of advanced self-defense shooting tactics and techniques. Pistol 1 starts off with shooting on the move... the fundamentals, how to do it, what you can expect at 3, 7, 10 yards, and beyond, and practice techniques to help you learn quickly. This course will also help you to shoot while moving away from the targets... Also discussed in the course covers moving towards and away from targets and also moving laterally all while shooting live rounds. Also we will have extensive discussions on the tactical use of cover, what is cover, and how to use it for maximum survival and protection.
Advance Pistol 2
Continues with the proper use of cover and then advances into how to shoot from behind cover. Demonstrations of techniques with discussions on why and how you need to practice shooting from behind cover. You will also learn the advantages of aimed fire, flash sight picture, and point shooting. Also how to perform tactical reloads versus speed reloads. Course also teaches you techniques even if you're knocked down This course also has a review of basic and advanced live fire practice shooting techniques.
Advanced Pistol 3
This course begins with a discussion on what could happen in a real gunfight and that might happen if you are shot or shoot a "bad guy" Plus the most common question people ask me, "Should I shoot 1 shot or 2 shots at multiple adversaries?" You will also discover the relationship of time, distance and what happens in a real shooting situation. Demonstration and discussion of the proper use of a vehicle for cover. Plus, this course will have live fire drills from shooting in a car, around the car and use of cover from a car. This course will have more discussions on other topics as well.
Advanced Pistol 4 & 5
These two courses will be given in the same day to round out the advance series 1-5. Discussion on how to respond to carjacking and why your vehicle may be your best weapon of all. Discussion on target identification skills and shooting at moving targets while moving towards cover. Several point shooting techniques will be discussed. Discussion and drills on how to solve three of the most common gun malfunctions. Practice drills, plus some self-defense drills and discussions. Also to educate and discuss more information on best caliber for defense, avoiding trouble, and other topics included in the final series.
Move & Shoot
Your first and only objective is to get out of the way of the gunfire... move and keep moving at all times. Discussion and techniques on how to move, how to shoot on the move, and why to practice movement for true self-defense shooting. This course will help you take your self-defense mindset to the next level and bridge from one level to another.
Self-Defense Shooting
The key to all practice is to practice correctly. This course discusses several advanced practice shooting drills that are designed to improve your skill level. We also discuss and practice the 30 round skill drill. This drill will help you learn the shots needed for self-defense shooting.
Low Light Shooting
Statistics show that most gunfights occur at night in low light conditions. That is the truth! With that in mind, when is the last time you practiced shooting in low light with or without a flashlight? This course demonstrates several popular shooting techniques utilizing flashlights and tritium night sights as well discussions and live fire drills. Discussions on the importance of moving once you have illuminated and identified the threat with your flashlight. Plus, this course includes a demonstration / discussion using a flashlight to clear and search a house.
House Clearing
What would you do if a burglar broke into your home tonight? What are your chances of apprehending the intruder or would you? It’s not a good idea to go searching your home, unless of course a loved one is in danger. Once you know an intruder is in your home you should call 911, and then get your firearm. If you must go out of your room, there are certain tactics and techniques that have proven to increase your chances of success and survival. And that’s what this course is all about, providing you the information you need to make smart decisions when it comes to House Clearing. This course is a plus with the NRA Personal Protection in the Home Course.

Defensive Flashlight Course
Walking Stick/Cane Defense
Learn to apply the basic techniques using a walking stick, cane or umbrella that will allow one to defend themselves against one or more attackers. You will learn what works and doesn't work and see and experience first-hand the devasting effects of a walking stick/cane. This 4 hour course is designed for any age group with a special invitation to those who are older or physically impaired.
"STINGER" Defense Course
This 2 hour program is to instruct in the use of the "Stinger" a non-lethal defensive tool to defeat an attack and allow escape. Learn basic techniques for defense and advanced techniques for defeating an attacker when no escape is available. An excellent program especially for women and young adults. This is ideal training for women traveling or for students entering college. Be prepared.
Defensive Flashlight Course
Hands-on self-defense techniques to turn an ordinary flashlight into a defensive tool. Learn basic and advanced moves to escape and defend against a physical assault.
Expandable Baton Course
Learn the basic techniques of using and applying an expandable baton. Learn drawing techniques, striking techniques and blocking techniques that will allow you to defend against an attack and/or disarm a subject with a knife, bottle or stick.
Mini-Baton Course
Using a mini-baton or baton key chain learn to defend against an attacker. Learn techniques to control subjects and prevent injury and escape a violent situation.
OC/PEPPER SPRAY Course
This 2 hour course teaches a person to successfully use OC/Pepper Spray for defense. Learn the good and the limitations about OC/Pepper sprays, methods of using sprays, effects and steps for decontamination. If you are going to carry this non-lethal form of defense learn its proper use and techniques.
